The Liberal Christian Herald is published three times a year, and seeks to give voice to a wide selection of liberal

Christian points of view. Depending on our contributors (and the constraints of space!), it has a mixture of news, devotional material, prayers, poems and theological articles. Although most of our readers and writers are Unitarian, we are open to the insights of liberal Christianity,

in line with our open-ended tradition (a tradition sometimes referred to ‘non-subscribing’- meaning, not subscribing to any human creed)

We recognise their historic importance of creeds, ‘confessions’ (e.g. ‘the Westminster Confession’) and other historic doctrinal formulations but are conscious of their limitations. We hold to the words and teachings of Christ, and the New Testament, that a tree is known by its fruits, and that a faith without good works is dead. The Herald seeks to reflect this liberal Christian outlook, in line with our mission to act as a resource to the wider Unitarian movement. Alex Bradley – Editor.
